April 24, 1936 – May 19, 2024
Wayne Henry Ruppert passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024, at SSM St Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on April 24, 1936, to Henry & Orilla (Kaster) Ruppert. He attended East Dayton Elementary School and graduated from Belleville High School Class of 1954.
Wayne worked for Pyramid Motors/Ahrens Cadillac for 50 years. He retired and then worked for Bank of Middleton as a backup courier for several years.
Wayne married his high school sweetheart Annette Garvoille, and they lived in Belleville until moving to Noel Manor, Verona in May 2022. While in Belleville, he served on the Village Board, the Community Club, and the Green County Board of Supervisors. Wayne also served on many Automotive Groups including GM National Dealer Council. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Dinner Committee.
Wayne was an avid Packer and Badger fan and any/all activities of his children and grandchildren. He was a long time Badger Booster and Grid Iron Club member.
He is survived by his wife Annette, daughters Jill (Kevin) Wells, Judith (Richard) Bernards, and sons John (Andrea) Ruppert, Jerome (Pamela) Ruppert, and James (Denise) Ruppert. Son-in- law Ian (Lisa) Perrin and Brother-in-law Robert (Cathy) Keller. Twelve grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samuel (Danielle), Lena, Madison (Drew), Austin (Megan), Andrew, McKenna, Jacob, Matthew, Mariana, Barrett, and Beau. Two great grandchildren, Nyah and Camden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Jayne Perrin, his parents, three sisters Marian (Gerald) Hendrickson, Helen (Carl) Heller and Eileen Ruppert and infant brother Leon.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI with Rev. Chahm Gahng and Rev. Michael Moon officiating. Burial will be in the St. James Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, WI.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
