Walter M. "Wally" Busser, age 60, of Blue Mounds, WI passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1953 in Monroe, WI to his parents Melvin and Gertrude (Ziehli) Busser. Wally was among the best and last class to graduate from Hollandale High School in 1971. On June 17, 1995 he was united in marriage to Judith Lake at York Memorial Lutheran Church. Wally owned and operated Busser Trucking from 1977 to 1992. Later he drove truck for Economy Produce, Otis Spunkmeyer, and T.Q. Diamonds. He was a member of the York Memorial Lutheran Church. Wally enjoyed trips to see the Brewers and Packers. He was a long time player and sponsor of the Busser Trucking Bowling and Softball Teams. Wally is survived by his wife Judy of Blue Mounds, WI, children Rob (Kara) Busser of Mineral Point, WI, Randall Busser of Mt. Horeb, WI and Rachelle (Andrew) Traxler of Columbus, WI, step-children Don (Diana) Westphal of Monroe, WI, Barbara (Michael) Jeglum of Mt. Horeb, WI, and Ken (Lori) Westphal of Waunakee, WI, three grandchildren MacClain Busser and Lane and Lily Busser. He is further survived by a sister Shirley (Ron) Bircher of New Glarus, WI and a brother Don (Judy) Busser of Monticello, WI, nieces, nephews, and loyal canine companions Bengie and Dora. He was preceded in death by his parents and close friends Ron Doran, Pat Doran, William Doescher, and Pete Chambers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Hollandale Lutheran Church, 407 Main St., Hollandale, WI with Pastor Mark Gruner officiating with burial in the Long Valley Cemetery rural Hollandale, WI. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Hollandale Lutheran Church, 407 Main St., Hollandale, WI.
