Violet Elmer, age 83, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born on August 26, 1932 to her parents Meinrad and Emma (Gerber) Zentner. Violet was married to Ralph Elmer and was a homemaker.

Violet is survived by her twin sister Viola Schwend, two sons, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, and brother James Zentner.

Per Violet's request no services will be held.
