Age 92 years 8 months, Suzanne (Sue) Barbara Sherk Daum, born October 15, 1921 joined her husband in the light of Jesus Christ on July 23, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Henry Arno Daum Jr.; parents, Daniel and Claudia Sherk, brother Edward, sister Margaret; survived by sister Alix Elam, children Toni Daum, Henry Arno Daum III (Heidi River) and Ali Liddle (Richard), grandchildren Robin and Christopher Paprock-River and Nathaniel Arno Liddle (Alicia), Noah Liddle, and Claudia Jennings (Aaron), and 4 great grandchildren. Sue was a smart, inspiring woman; a Girl Scout leader whose love of literature and birds enriched all whom she encountered. She worked tirelessly in her church community. Sue was a talented seamstress whose friendly smile and genuine compassion for others brought joy and happiness to everyone she met. Her gentle soul is at rest after a long journey with strokes and Alzheimer's disease, and she entered the kingdom of God surrounded by those who loved her. A memorial service for Sue and Hank Daum will be held at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Mn on Sept. 6, 2014 at 11:00 am.
