Sharon A. Long, age 82 passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024.  She was born on March 20, 1942 the daughter of LaVerne and Lucille (Mulrine) Bollig.  Sharon graduated from Verona High School in 1960.  On June 28, 1961 she was united in marriage to Keith J. Long at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Verona.  Sharon had worked at Odgen Mfg. and later Dean Clinic from where she retired at the age of 75.  She treasured her Dean Clinic family, many of whom she stayed in touch with.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville.  Sharon found peace and joy in keeping an immaculate yard and listening to the many birds that visited her feeders.  Most of all she loved and cherished her family.

Sharon is survived by her children Renee (Dennis) Spoerl, Laurie (Barry) Pierstorff, Kevin Long, and Stefanie Long, grandchildren Thomas Spoerl, Samantha Spoerl, Dan (Andrea) Pierstorff, Nicole Pierstorff, Luke Pierstorff, great-grandchildren Trevor Pierstorff and Alex Koster.  She is further survived by her sister Diane Zweifel, sister-in-law Vivian (Casey) Clarke, and many special loved nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith, mother-in-law and father-in-law Kenneth & Elizabeth Long, brother Douglas (Martha) Bollig, brothers-in-law Roger Zweifel and Maurice (Gladys) Long, and sister-in-law Patricia (Robert) Campbell.

Sharon's smile lit up the room, and she was a friend to all who never met a stranger.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI with Fr. Joseph Bellamkonda officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery, Verona, WI.

A visitation will precede the funeral mass from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI.
