Shane Mitchell Eith, age 59 passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at his home.  He was born on March 30, 1964 in Monroe, WI the son of Marvin and Marjorie (West) Eith.  Shane graduated from Belleville High School in 1982 and then attended MATC in Madison.  He had worked at Covance in Madison for over twenty years and most recently had worked in medical research at the William S. Middleton VA Memorial Hospital in Madison.  Shane was involved in FFA and 4H he had served as a leader for dog and horse projects as well as the committee chair.  With his love of animals Shane could always be called upon to be a dog sitter, and he enjoyed cooking for family gatherings.

Shane is survived by his sons Jordan (fiancé Sarah Loach) Eith and Logan Eith, mother Marjorie Eith, brother Jim Eith, sisters Brenda (Chris) Ring and Brandie (Jamy) Eith, and nieces Sara, Tiffany, and Morgan.  He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Marvin and grandparents Erwin and Henrietta Eith and Harry and Arlene West.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.  A time of remembrance will conclude the gathering at 8:00 p.m.
