Sandra Ann Hollis, age 72, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. She was born on April 10, 1942 in Wauwatosa, WI to her parents Albert and Gertrude (Dickerson) Garcia. Sandy graduated from Madison East High School. On May 23, 1959 she was united in marriage to Gerald Dean Hollis at Grace United Methodist Church in Belleville. The couple later divorced. Sandy worked for the State of Wisconsin for thirty years and also at Borland's in Belleville. She was also a member of Eagles Aerie #623 and her coffee klatch. She is survived by her son Wayde G. Hollis of Crested Butte, CO, daughter Shay (Rudy) Zimmerman of Mineral Point, WI, grandson Jason Michael Hendrickson, great-grandson Easton Michael Klinzing-Hendrickson, sisters Patricia Ann Keegan and Beverly Ann Garcia, and a special great-niece Gabi Garcia. She was preceded in death by her father Albert Garcia and mother Gertrude Olson, and a brother William Phillip Keegan. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. A gathering of relatives and friends precede the memorial service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home.
