Ronald F. Strahm, age 79 passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc in Fitchburg.  He was born on January 26, 1944 at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe the son of Robert and Adeline (Landmark) Strahm.  Ron graduated from New Glarus High School in 1962.  On September 9, 1966 he was united in marriage to June Zweifel at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.  Ron had worked at Federal Industries in Belleville and then retired from Sub-Zero in Fitchburg after more than 35 years.  In his retirement Ron continued to work at the New Glarus Wäsche Center.  He was a member of the Swiss United Church of Christ.  Ron loved his family and was proud to help raise his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed sharing his love of music with family through his guitar.

Ron is survived by his wife June, daughter Wendy (Mike) Strahm, grandchildren Xander (Rebecca), Evonne, Alexys, Ja'Kodey, D'Angelo, Ali'Zae, and Money Strahm, and great-granddaughter Maliyah.  He is further survived by a sister Doris Streiff, sister-in-law Jill (Gene) Duerst, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Ernie, and a brother-in-law Dean Streiff.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Swiss United Church of Christ, 18 Fifth Ave., New Glarus, WI with Pastor Pat Pluss officiating.  Burial will be in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus, WI.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.

The family would like to thank Sam, Dana, Dorene, and all the others for the care and support given to Ron and his family.
