Ronald E. Aebly, age 81 of Verona, WI passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024.  He was born on November 3, 1943 the son of Fred and Iona (Helmeid) Aebly.  Ron graduated from New Glarus High School in 1961.  He served in the United States Army National Guard from 1966-1970.  On September 16, 1967 he was united in marriage to Loarine Viney at St. James Catholic Church in Dayton.  Ron had worked at Carnes Corp in Verona for over forty-five years retiring in 2015.  In addition to his love of his family he also had a passion for Chevrolet Corvettes.

Ron is survived by his wife Lori, daughters Michele Aebly-Mahoney and Tanya (Joe) Aebly-Folk, grandchildren Ryan and Clare Mahoney, Connor and Carson Kakuske, and Mason and Maddon Folk.  He is further survived by his siblings Gary (JoAnn) Aebly and Deb Murkve, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Fred and Marie Viney, and brother-in-law Don Murkve.

Private family services will be held at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.

A public celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date.
