Roger L. Werndli, age 73, of Mount Horeb passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 23, 1943 to his parents Melvin and Meta (Schindler) Werndli. Roger graduated as the valedictorian of his class from New Glarus High School. He was a dedicated dairy farmer who farmed for years along with his brother Ralph in the Town of Primrose. Roger also served for many years as the Town of Primrose Treasurer. Roger was a member of the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus. He was a wise investor and loved his Packers.

Roger is survived by his beloved brother Ralph.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Avenue, New Glarus, WI with Rev. Kim Moeller officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery.
