Roberta M. Hartwig, age 86 passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at SSM Health in Monroe, WI.  She was born on May 4, 1938 in Brooklyn, WI the daughter of Jesse and Hazel (Smith) Lloyd.  On March 29, 1958 she was united in marriage to John Hartwig in Evansville, WI.  Roberta and John lived in the Dayton/Belleville area until moving to Albany in 1977.  She was a mother and homemaker raising her children and taking care of her family.  While she was normally very quiet and reserved, Roberta always kept an eye on happenings in the neighborhood.

Roberta is survived by her five children Ricky Hartwig, Linda (Todd) Noble, Randy Hartwig, Shirley (Brian) Kolden, and Ronald (Erin) Hartwig, seven grandchildren Kristin (Casey), Tammy (Kris), Todd Michael (Jessica), Marissa (David), Hailey, Olivia, and Zachary, and a great-grandson Landon.  She is further survived by her sister Ruth Hall, brother Kenny (Roberta) Lloyd, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 1997, sisters Joyce Lisser, Joanne Nelson, Loretta Lisser, and brother Roger Lloyd.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with Fr. David Carrano officiating.  A private family funeral service will follow with burial in the St. James Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, WI.
