Robert E. "Jack" Young, age 80, passed away on Thursday, March 07, 2013 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. He was born on January 10, 1933 at Richland County, WI to his parents Howard and Mary (Pletzer) Young. Jack graduated from Belleville High School. He worked for many years as a custodian and supervisor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. On October 13, 2001 Jack was united in marriage to Joyce Berget Sweeney at the Wiota Lutheran Church. Jack is survived by his wife Joyce of Wiota, WI, step-children Tim Berget of Wiota, WI and Lisa Nethery of Mineral Point, WI, four step-grandchildren Tina (Rick) Andrews, Josh (Ashley) Nethery, and Chris and Skylar Weigel, seven step-great-grandchildren David, Samantha, Madie, Holly, Logan, Emily, and Mya. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-grandson Jordan. Relatives and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. Private family inurnment services will be held at a later date.
