Robert "Bob" Yaeger, rural Mt. Horeb, WI passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87.

Bob was born on April 8, 1937 to Walter and Bernadine (Spears) Yaeger in Green County, WI. Bob attended school in New Glarus, WI and entered the Navy in 1955. He later took over the Duffy family farm on Kittleson Road, Mt. Horeb where he and his family resided most of his life. After selling his cattle, Bob worked at Federal Industries in Belleville until his retirement.

He married his sweetheart, Alice Duffy on April 30, 1960 and they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this April.  They have three children Duane Yaeger, Janet (Dale) Burkeland, and Sherri Yaeger, and a special nephew Walter Yaeger.  They have eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Bob enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and participate in school activities. He collected toy tractors.  He was a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, along with the local Pecatonica Vikings.

He is survived by his spouse Alice, children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister Wendy Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Bernadine Yaeger, sister Elizabeth Erb, and brothers Paul Yaeger and David Yaeger.

Thank you to the SSM Oncology Team and SSM Hospice for the special care they provided to Bob. Thank you for the visits from friends and family.

At his request, there will no visitation or funeral.
