This is a totally New Experience, I never died before. I first set my feet on this earth on January 8, 1933. I left to become part of this earth on Feb. 18, 2011. I was born to wonderful, loving parents Fred and Kathryn (Zentner) Pauli. Their influences helped me shape the way I was to spend the rest of my life. I attended the Paoli Grade School and graduated from Verona High School. Upon graduating I helped my father run the farm for two years. It was then the Army decided I needed a two year course to become a fearless warrior. After two years (and failing that course) I returned home to the prettiest, loveliest girl in the world, Mary. It was on June 8, 1956, I persuaded Mary to become Mrs. Mary (Gruetzman) Pauli. We began a lifetime of farming, enjoying nature, and everyday adventures to the fullest, always together. From this marriage, five sons and two daughters were born. Each easy to love. Each unique in their own way. My what lucky times. I grew up in a carefree childhood, fun adolescent years and financial success readily available. Remember -Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. Survivors include my wife Mary (still pretty and lovely), my sons; Robert Pauli Jr. and his son Christopher, John (Kathy) Pauli children Holly, Danielle, Ben, and Audrey, Joel Pauli, Tim Pauli, Angela (George) Riedel children Ellen, Carolyn, and Robert, Ruth Pauli and Matt Pauli. A Brother and sisters Don (Marie) Pauli, Mary Eves, Faye (James) Whitaker, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Zwingli United Church of Christ-Paoli, 1338 County Rd. PB, Paoli with the Rev. Sara Thiessen officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. A memorial fund has been established.
