Richard M. Weber, age 74 passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his home.  He was born on May 14, 1949 the son of Melvin and Eunice (Zobrist) Weber in Highland, IL.  Richard graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1967, and entered into service in the United States Army in May of 1968 and served until his discharge in May of 1974.  His service included tours of duty in Vietnam.  After discharge he worked at General Motors in Janesville.

Richard is survived by his children Joshua (Sarah) Weber and Rayne Weber, grandchildren Dakota, Sianna, Adeline, and Adin Weber.  He is further survived by his brother Russell Weber, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Patricia Briggs, Vicki Reents, Robert Weber, and Linda Hyne.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.  Military honors will be accorded at the conclusion of the visitation at 6:00 p.m.
