Ralph Calvin Langdok, age 84, of Whitewater and formerly Belleville, WI passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at home with family by his side. He was born on August 23, 1931 in Rhinelander, WI the son of Gilman and Clara (Anderson) Langdok. Ralph served in the United States Army as a radio operator from 1948 to 1952 serving in occupied Japan after WWII and also during the Korean War. On June 24, 1961 he was united in marriage to Sharon Bedessem. Ralph worked as a supervisor for Deltown and later Anderson Custom Processing in Belleville, WI from where he retired. He was a member of the Duppler-Smith American Legion Post #460 in Belleville, WI. He will forever live in peace and our memories as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Ralph is survived by his daughter Susan (Richard) Kaja of Whitewater, WI, son Calvin Langdok of Madison, WI, grandchildren Emma and Austin Kaja, brothers Ronald Langdok of Janesville, WI, Lavern Langdok of Janesville, WI, and Kenneth Langdok of Gleason, WI, sisters Gail Vinney of McFarland, WI and Diane (Jim) Donahue of New Glarus, WI, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sharon of fifty one years.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with Chaplain Susan Greenler officiating, burial with military honors will be in the Paoli Cemetery. A visitation will precede the funeral from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Friday at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to nurse Lori Fehringer and all of the care team from Heartland Hospice of Madison along with nurse Val and the staff of DaVita Dialysis in Lake Geneva for their kind and compassionate care.
