Peggy E. Borucki, age 77, of New Glarus passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her home.  She was born on June 23, 1946 in Manistique, MI the daughter of Mennen and Lily Mae (Peacock) Cousineau.  Peg grew up in the U.P. and was raising her children there.  She would relocate her family to Lower Michigan where she met Robert Borucki who had transferred to the area to work as a sales representative for Kent Feeds.  Bob and Peg married on April 24, 1982 in Silverwood, MI.  In 1983, Bob & Peg & family would move to Mineral Point, WI.  While in Mineral Point, they started the Mineral Springs Winery, which later led to their opening of the New Glarus Primrose Winery after they had moved to New Glarus is the late 1990's.  Peg was a feisty high-spirited adventurous lady, who was also caring and compassionate.  She had opened her home to people with developmental disabilities, and later had also taken in her aunts to assist with their care.  Over the last few years her husband Bob had become Peg's caregiver, friend, fiancé, and a few other titles as she progressed through the effects of fibromyalgia, dementia, and COPD.  Throughout it all Peg maintained her sense of faith and love for her family.

Peg is survived by her husband Bob, children Angel (Raymond) Leach, Jodie (Jeff) Kline, Mennen "Mac" Borucki, grandchildren Alexander, Catherine, and Madeline Leach, Cheyenne & Dakota Kline, and Lily Mae & Nathanial Borucki, great-grandson Kinkaid Kline Mitchell, and sister Christina Neadow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Lucille Borucki, brother Charles Cousineau, and beloved aunts Peg, Marilla, Muzzy, uncle Edwin, and brother-in-law Mike.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.

A time of remembrance led by Rev. John Twiton will conclude the visitation at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.

The family would like to thank the staff of Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., especially nurse Nimmer the kind and compassionate care given to Peg, and also offer a special thank you to Marsha from the Primrose Lutheran Church for her frequent prayer and friendship visits with Peg and Bob for the last couple of years.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
