Pearl G. Heding, age 92, of Belleville, WI, flew away into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the New Glarus Home under the care of Monroe Clinic Hospice. Pearl was born October 25, 1919 at Elroy, Wisconsin, the daughter of August and Marie (Pior) Baerwald. She attended Elroy Public Schools. On June 8, 1941 was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Heding at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Elroy. Pearl was an avid gardener raising African Violets and enjoying the outdoors, watching the many birds and squirrels visiting her feeders. Quilting, collecting dolls, word puzzles, taking care of her cat, "Miss Kitty" and her dog, "Gina". Pearl was very active with the Belleville Senior Citizens helping with the Senior Citizens Letter and doing the dishes on meal days. Her love for her children and grandchildren was her life. She enjoyed the time spent with her good friend Gladys Schulz. Pearl is survived by her children: Sandra Thomsen of Columbus, WI, Linda Halverson of Stoughton, WI, Ronald (Heide) Heding of Havelock, NC, Donna (Doug) Johnson of Boscobel, WI, Ronda (Scott) Pedley of Shullsburg, WI and Richard Heding of Belleville, WI. She is further survived by eleven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and seven step grandchildren. Sisters; Leona Hoffmeyer of River Falls, WI,Irene Snyder of Elroy, WI, Marie Larson of New Lisbon, WI and Elsie Thompson of Tomah, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Kenneth L. Heding, son in law Bob Halverson, sister LaVerne Pearsall and infant sister Helen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 520 Franklin Street, Elroy, WI. The Pastor Conrad L. Prell officiating with burial in the Elroy Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Becker - Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 after 4:00 P.M. where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 P.M. by pastor Sara Theissen and a 7:00 P.M. Ladies Masonic Three Rose memorial service by Dave Ritchie. A special thanks to Richard for the loving care and always being there for his Mom.
