Patsy Ann Adams was born to George Arthur Sarow and Lucile Rose (Elmer) Sarow in a blizzard on January 20th, 1951 in Stoughton, WI. Patsy lived her growing up years in Footville, WI, attending the elementary school there and later graduating from Parkview High School. She attended UW Madison and was employed at the New Glarus Elementary School for 14 years. Patsy is survived by her husband Terry; children Sam (Lindsay), Cate (Mike), Dan, and Norah (Ben); granddaughter Isabelle; mother Lucile; brother Steve; in-laws Marietha and Obert; Julayne; Marge and Jim; cats Millie and Heck, dog Nina; and many other relatives and friends. Patsy is preceded in death by her father George; grandparents Emma Hallmark and Chas and Louise Sarow, and infant son Joseph Hawk. Patsy loved animals, her gardens, reading, and writing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., followed by a celebration of Patsy's life from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Memorial/Celebration will be held at the New Glarus Elementary School, 1420 2nd Street, New Glarus. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Glarus Public Library where Patsy spent countless hours and found many of her beloved stories.
