Palmer W. "Ozzie" Buesser, age 75 passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at his home.  He was born on June 21, 1949 in Monroe, WI the son of Oswald and Olga (Schneider) Buesser.  Oz graduated from New Glarus High School in 1967.  He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1968 to 1974.  On November 28, 1970 he was united in marriage to Margaret "Peggy" Meyer at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.  Oz began working with his father as a brick mason as a teenager, he continued as a mason for many years with Rural Masonry.  Later he sold pole buildings for Menards and Northland.  Oz enjoyed fishing, tinkering in the garage, feeding the birds, and occasional trips to the casino.

Oz is survived by his wife Peggy Buesser, daughters Amy (Ace) Hagen and Mandy (Bryan) Versnik, grandchildren Trevor (Jamie Jakusz), Drew, and Connor (Lily Hoffman) Enloe, Sean (Brynna Winkers), Ryan, and Casey Hagen, and Grace and Miles Versnik.  He is further survived by a sister Ruth Viney, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Becky Enloe, and brothers John and Eugene Buesser.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with Pastor Petra Streiff officiating.

A gathering of relatives and friends will precede the memorial service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.

The family would like to thank the staff of SSM Health at Home Hospice, especially nurse Kelly for the kind and compassionate care given to Oz.
