Orvin H. Jelle, age 89 passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home on the farm where he was born.  He was born on October 14, 1932 the son of Henry and Clara (Slotten) Jelle.  On February 4, 1956 he was united in marriage to Hannah Mueller at the Zwingli Reformed Church in Mount Vernon.  Orvin was a lifelong dairy farmer, he farmed the home farm in the Town of Primrose through out his life with a preference for John Deere machinery.  He was also a member of the Primrose Lutheran Church.

Orvin is survived by his wife Hannah, children Doreen (Kevin) Bodenmann and Dennis (Lynne) Jelle, daughter-in-law Heidi Jelle, grandchildren Quentin (Sara), Dana, Jesse (Alex), Shane, Tiffany, and Christina, and great-grandchildren.  He is further survived by his sisters Berniece Jelle and Lyles Solberg, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Dale, sister Hazel Keehn, and brother Elmer Jelle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.  Burial will be in the Primrose East Cemetery.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
