Olga Caroline Steiner, age 93, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. She was born on January 23, 1920 in the Town of Montrose to her parents Joseph and Anna (Schneider) Hefty. On November 29, 1938 Olga was united in marriage to Alvin Steiner at Verona, WI. Olga worked for many years at the Carnes Company in Verona. She was also a member of the First United Church of Christ in Belleville. Olga is survived by her daughter Joan (Layne) Erickson of Oconto, WI, grandchildren Julie (Paul) Kinney of McFarland, WI and Jay (Carolyn) Hollenstein of Alma, AR, great-grandchildren Jessica (Kyle) Adkins, Samantha Kinney, and Kylie Hollenstein, a great-great-granddaughter Olivia Adkins. She is further survived by a sister Fren Mellor of West Salem, WI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin, son Duane, eight brothers Palmer, Jacob, Martin, Alvin, Walter, Joseph, and Dave, seven sisters Mabel, Anna, Esther, Violet, Wilma, and Margaret, and a son-in-law John Hollenstein. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with burial in Sunset Memory Gardens, Madison, WI. Relatives and friends may call from 12:00 noon until time of services on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
