Moony Klitzke, age 26 passed away on May 16, 2024 in Janesville.  He was born on December 17, 1997 in Mongolia.  Moony emigrated to the United States with his mother when he was younger and would grow up in Monticello, WI and he graduated from Monticello High School in 2014.  He then continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.  Following his time at Platteville he enlisted in the Wisconsin National Guard and was a part of the 273rd Engineer Company, and was called to active duty during the COVID pandemic.  Moony later completed his education earning a certificate in Cybersecurity Operations.   He was always a punctual person who followed through on his promises to assist and help others, especially his family.

Moony is survived by his parents Dan and Donna Klitzke, sisters Sylena and Hanna Klitzke, grandmother Sylvia Klitzke, aunts Baigalmaa Nordod, Cindy Putnam, Bonnie Klitzke, Debbie Klitzke, and Theresa Andrews, uncles Bayrsaikhan Nordod, David, Dwayne, Jim, and Bill Klitzke, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Nordod Sanj, Gunjee Vanchinsuren, and David Klitzke, and uncle Michael Klitzke.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.  Mary Gafner will officiate.

A visitation will precede the funeral services from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
