Mary Jane Wenger

Mary Jane Wenger, age 81 of Postville, WI passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on September 7, 1945 a daughter of Clift and Margaret “Peg” (Rufenacht) Webber. Mary Jane graduated from New Glarus High School in 1963. On August 22, 1964 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Wenger at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus. Mary Jane and Kenny farmed in Postville for many years. In addition to being a farm wife and mother, she also had worked at Disch Enterprises and the Colney Insurance Agency along with waitressing at Flannery’s and the Norseman. Mary Jane was always supportive and in attendance for her children and grandchildren with their sports and school activities.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband Ken Wenger, sons Kendal (Karen) Wenger and Keith (Bobbi Blum) Wenger, grandchildren Kendra (Austin) Nimtz, Karson Wenger, and Charlie Rufi, and son-in-law Bill Rufi. She is further survived by her siblings Jeff (Beverly) Webber, Geri Schwartzlow, and James P. Webber, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Connie Rufi, brothers Robert Webber and C. John Webber, and infant brother William

Per Mary Jane’s request no formal services will be held.
