Mark S. Wild, age 94, of Stoughton passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Skaalen Home in Stoughton. He was born on February 15, 1917 to his parents Jacob and Markert (Prior) Wild at New Glarus, WI. Mark graduated from New Glarus High School and attended college in Madison. He also worked for Pet Milk Co. and the Frank Fruit Co. Mark served in the United States Army during World War II. While serving at Camp Hulen in Palacios, Texas he was united in marriage to Charline M. Staley on June 19, 1943. Later Mark worked as a bookkeeper for Foster Insulation and for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation as an accountant until his retirement. Mark is survived by his daughter Suzette Smith of Racine, WI, granddaughter Natalie Tremblay of Racine, brother Dallas (Dorothy) Wild of Monroe, WI, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Charline, daughter Bonnie, granddaughter Lindsay Tremblay, sisters Evelyn and Sally, and brothers Bernie and Davey. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with the Rev. Gary Fritz officiating with burial in the Belleville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
