Marjorie E. Buchholz age 85, passed away on August 10, 2021 at Agrace Hospice, Janesville, WI. She was born August 22, 1935 in Tomah, WI the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Kortein) Ward. Marjorie graduated from Tomah High School. On May 18, 1957 she was united in marriage to Roland C. "Bucky" Buchholz at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Tomah. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club. She was also an active Badger sports fan and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Marjorie is survived by her two daughters Ronda Buchholz of New Glarus and Nichelle (John) Bauer of Seven Lakes NC, two grandchildren Zachary Buchholz Bauer of Charleston, SC and Spencer Buchholz Bauer, of Charlotte NC, sister-in-law Judy Bromley, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland "Bucky", brother David Ward, sister-in-law Delores Ward, and a brother-in-law David Bromley.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 Twelfth Ave., New Glarus, WI. The Rev. Gene Talley will officiate.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.

A memorial fund has been established in her memory.
