Maribeth Stanley, age 74, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at UW Hospital in Madison.  She was born on August 30, 1947 at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe the daughter of Elroy and Lorna (Marty) Eichelkraut.  Maribeth graduated from New Glarus High School in 1965.  On April 28, 1973 she was united in marriage to Frank Stanley at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus.  Maribeth worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Wisconsin for many years.

Maribeth is survived by her sisters, Lorene Webber and Shirley Howell, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father William Marty, husband Frank Stanley, brother and sister-in-law Bradford "Butch" and Peggy Eichelkraut, brother Barry Eichelkraut, brother-in-law David Howell, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Harold and Orielle Stanley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI with Pat Pluss officiating.  Burial will be in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus, WI.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.
