Marcia D. (DeRemer) Thomann, age 80 passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe, WI.  She was born on September 3, 1941 in Monroe the daughter of Marshall and Hilva (Powers) DeRemer.  Marcia graduated from Monroe High School in 1959.  She had worked for the telephone company and later Oak Tron in Monroe for many years.  On November 12, 1974 she was united in marriage to Leo Thomann in Freeport, IL, and the couple made their home in Monticello.

Marcia is survived by her husband Leo and son David Powers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Louella Mulligan, Dorothy Hartwig, and Betty Leutenegger, and brothers Marvin, Walter, Quentin, and Daniel DeRemer.

Per Marcia's wishes private inurnment will be in the Norwegian Settlement Cemetery, rural Albany, WI.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus, WI is assisting the family.
