Louise Denise Lee, age 69 passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at the New Glarus Home.  She was born on July 19, 1956 in Alma, Quebec, Canada the daughter of Claude and Denise (Rossignol) Deschenes.  Louise and her family emigrated to Florida in 1971 where she graduated from Deerfield Beach High School in 1974.   Louise first married Michel Lamontagne and they had three sons Mark, Kevin, and Shawn.  The family moved to Tennessee in 1991.  While in Tennessee, Louise began working in the hotel and hospitality industry.  After her husband Michel passed in 1999, she would later marry Walter Lee.  Following Walter's death in 2018, Louise moved to New Glarus to be closer to her son Mark.  While in New Glarus she had worked at the Chalet Landhaus and was a member of the New Glarus Bible Church.  Throughout Louise's life her church and family were the most important.

Louise is survived by her sons Mark (Sarah Prechel) Lamontagne, Kevin (Miranda) Lamontagne, and Shawn (Merinda) Lamontagne, grandchildren Dylan (Cassie) Brown, Emilee, Jett, Ameilia, Ian, Oliver, & Aurora Lamontagne, Rachel Hartsell, Carson & Mason Prechel, and Bryce Morales, great-granddaughter Caroline Jensen, and a brother Michael (Cary) Bass-Deschenes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Michel and Walter.

Private family services will be held.
