Lester Marion Kempfer, age 54 passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 9, 1966 in Madison the son of Gene and Phyllis (Jones) Kempfer. Lester's family farmed in the Blanchardville area and he graduated from New Glarus High School in 1985. Following high school, he would serve in the U.S. Army National Guard. Lester married Tracy Lee in October of 1990 and they had a son Christoper together. Later he would marry Diana Gruter. Lester worked for New Glarus Appliance for many years along with Brunsell Lumber and Millwork, and Landmark in Belleville.

Lester is survived by his son Christopher Kempfer, parents Gene and Phyllis Kempfer, twin sister Victoria, brothers Gene, Rich, and Mike (Jeryl), nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and wife Diana Gruter.

Per Lester's request no services will be held.
