Leroy A. Kahl, age 63, of Dayton passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 10th, 1947 in Madison to Leola (Adler) and Arthur Kahl. Leroy graduated from Middleton High School in 1965, and served in the U.S. Navy for several years. On August 7th, 1978 he was united in marriage to Debra Zurbuchen. Leroy worked as a mechanic at Jensen Auto Service in Madison and most recently worked as a service writer for A-1 Transmission. Leroy loved his grandchildren and enjoyed NHRA drag racing and NASCAR. Leroy is survived by his wife and caregiver Deb Kahl of Dayton, son Kyle(Kari) Kahl of Belleville, two grandchildren Makensi and Austin, mother Leola Kahl of Middleton, sister Peggy (Dan) Miller of Middleton, and mother-in-law Donna Zurbuchen of Verona, aunts, uncles, nieces, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Kahl and father-in-law Don Zurbuchen. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with the Rev. Kenneth Klink officiating.
