Lavon V. (Schluter) Stolts-Olson, age 95 passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the New Glarus Home.  She was born on May 8, 1930 in Madison the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Paxton) Schluter.  Lavon grew up in rural Sun Prairie and attended the Seminary Springs School and then graduated from Madison East High School in 1948.  She had worked at First National Bank, Noran Instruments, and Gentle Breeze Honey.  On October 26, 1968 she married Roger Olson in Rockford, IL.  Lavon and Roger resided for many years in a converted cheese factory in the Town of Primrose until moving to Belleville.  Lavon was a member of the Primrose Lutheran Church.

Lavon is survived by her children Linda Merry, Dan (Linda) Stolts, Nancy Stolts, Timothy (Susan) Stolts, and Larry (Beth) Stolts, step-children Jeffery (Bonnie) Olson, Christopher Olson, Susan (Terry) Campbell, Melissa (Guy) Judd, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, son Wayne Stolts, grandson Nathan Cabrena, great-grandson Grant H. Meyer, sister Doris Roberts, and brothers Melvin Schluter and Richard Schluter.

Private family inurnment services will be held at a later date at the East Primrose Cemetery, rural Belleville, WI.
