Kevin Ross Schneider, age 59, passed away on November 11, 2015 in Attica. He was born on April 1, 1956 at the Stoughton Hospital to his parents Kenneth and Dorothy (Gempeler) Schneider. Kevin graduated from Belleville High School in 1974 and then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1976. In June of 1977 he was united in marriage to Deborah White in Los Angeles, CA. The couple later divorced. Kevin was a member of the Duppler-Smith American Legion Post #460 in Belleville. Kevin is survived by his sons Keith (Tracie Rognon) Schneider and Kurt Schneider, grandchildren Isabella Schneider, Keira Schneider, Kendal Cox, and Kamrin Cox, and companion of twenty years Betty Brattrud. He is further survived by his siblings Shirley (Lani Urbas) Wickersham, Kendall (Debbie) Schneider, and Jean (Gary) Heinzman, step sisters Barbara (Paul) Moser, Beverly (David) Mares, and Bonny (Edward) Engen, and special friends Bruce Johnson and Damien Reinartz. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Bill Fisher, and grandmother Elda Alwina Gempeler. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with the Rev. Heide Walker Hackman officiating. Inurnment of cremains with full military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Evansville, WI Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the memorial service on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville. A remembrance gathering will follow the inurnment of cremains at the Evansville VFW Post #6905, 179 E. Main St., Evansville, WI.
