Kerry was born March 20, 1972 in Mountain View, California. In December of 1989 Kerry married Brad Johnson, who later died following a traffic accident in October, 1990. She lived throughout Wisconsin through her years and made many friends and connections along the way. She enjoyed writing poetry, collecting various treasures and caring for her plants and animals.

Kerry's faith was an important part of her life. She had a love for scripture and found an unwavering foundation in the teachings of the Bible, which she read, cherished, and wrote about frequently.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her father, Charles Peterson and several aunts, uncles and cherished connections.

There will be no public services. Kerry will be remembered by her family and friends in their own individual ways. May the memories held by those who knew her bring comfort in the days ahead.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
