Keith T. Schmid, age 66, of New Glarus passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1950 to his parents Garfield and Helen (Doerfer) Schmid. Keith graduated from Verona High School in 1968. He worked as a truck driver for Sara Lee and Bimbo Bakeries for almost twenty years.

Keith is survived by his children Valerie Wyttenbach, Craig Schmid, and Mardi Schmid and grandchildren Nicole and Samantha Christen, Taylor Schmid, and Cassidy Komprood. He is further survived by a sister Mary McAllister, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Helen Schmid, and a sister June Hanson.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.
