Judith C. Treuthardt, age 82 passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Monroe Clinic Hospital after a short illness. She was born on August 15, 1937 in the Town of Exeter, Green County, WI the daughter of Irvin J. and Hazel (Scott) Disch. Judy grew up on a farm north of New Glarus and attended New Glarus Schools.   On July 21, 1957 she married Walt Treuthardt in New Glarus. In addition to being the wife of a truck driver and mother to her children, she worked as a telephone switch board operator, nurse's aide, school bus driver for Juda Schools, and as a customer service representative at Swiss Colony.

Judy is survived by her sons Mark Treuthardt and W. David (Denise) Treuthardt, daughters Sandra Treuthardt and Terri (Richard) Reynolds, grandchildren Amanda, Meighan, and Ryan Treuthardt, Jessica (Joe) Ritchie, and Candi (Michael) McCauley, great-grandchildren Jacob Bergemann, Mackenzie Bergemann, Cameron Ritchie, Devin Olsen, and Kayla Olsen, and special godson Andrew Mitchell. She is further survived by sisters Margie Elmer, Julie Johnson, Kathleen (Ed) O'Connor, Rosie Breitenbach, Janet Figy, and Barb (Bill) Argue and brothers Charles (Marylou) Disch, Joseph (Kathryn) Disch, and James (Kris) Disch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson James Bergemann, brothers Richard, Bill, and Ken Disch, and sisters Mary Tschudy, Patricia Jelle, and Dorothy Horner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.

A visitation will precede the funeral from 11:30 a.m. until time of services on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.
