Judell E. Wilhelmson

Judell E. Wilhelmson, age 87 of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the Monroe Health Center. She was born on October 19, 1938 in Darlington a daughter of Chester and Dorothy (Graham) Pattinson. Judy graduated from Darlington High School and on June 22, 1957 she was united in marriage to David Wilhelmson. Judy had worked at Oaktron in Monroe for many years and farmed with her husband in the Town of Primrose.

Judy is survived by her children Tim Wilhelmson and Lorie (Tony) Lance, grandchildren Janet Garthwaite, Jesse Lance, Nove Lance, and Tara (Larry) Saffold, and a great-grandchild Lux Saffold. She is further survived by her siblings Ronald Pattinson, Gary Pattinson, Sam Pattinson, Tom Pattinson, Ronita Hickman, and Tammy Palmer, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David, granddaughter Joanna, and brothers Terry Stevenson and Greg Boyle.

Private family services were held. A public celebration of Judy’s life will be held at a later date.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
