Jessie J. (Mueller) Downer, age 53, of Lodi passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 17, 1965 in Monroe the daughter of Alfred and Donna (Dickinson) Mueller. Jessie graduated from New Glarus High School in 1983 and then continued her education at MATC in Madison. She first worked at Cuna and then Robert W. Baird & Co. for 25 years. In 2004 she was united in marriage to Gary Downer in Portage, WI. Jessie loved her animals, she showed her horses as a 4H member and later her dogs. Her feline companions held a special place in her heart.

Jessie is survived by her husband Gary, mother Donna (Ed Ziegler) Mueller, sister Brenda (Kevin) Bernet, niece Kelsey Bernet, and nephew Bradley Bernet.

She was preceded in death by her father Al Mueller in 2005.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
