Jerry D. "Dino" Shireman, age 54, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison. He was born on February 28, 1957 at Dubuque, IA to his parents George E. and Henrietta Mae (Hoag) Shireman. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran. Following his military service Jerry attended Southwest Technical College and later worked as an Appliance Service Technician for New Glarus Appliance. Jerry is survived by his fiancée Cindy Booth, daughters Tianna Shireman, Kala Booth, and Tia Booth-Shireman, a granddaughter Kaelyn Carney. He is further survived by his siblings Joann (Richard) Lutes, Amanda (Harold) March, Carol Lynn (John) Peterson, Ronald (Donita) Shireman, Donald (MaryKay) Shireman, Sherry (Darrell) Kritz, George Shireman, Christine (Michael) Kipp, Cindy (Rob) Selchert, and Mary (Eldie) Kritz, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 6th Ave., New Glarus, WI with the Rev. Mark Renner officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus. Memorials are suggested to the children and grandchildren in lieu of flowers.
