Jeremy John Bigler, age 32, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 in New Glarus. He was born on October 20, 1984 in Monroe to his parents William Bigler and Judith Bufton. Jeremy graduated from New Glarus High School in 2003 and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He worked as a manager at the Pizza Hut's in Dodgeville and Monroe, Paoli Pub, Ott Haus, Kleeman's, and Puempels.
Jeremy was a history and trivia buff, he loved to challenge anyone in a trivia contest, bowling, bags, and darts. He was also an avid football, basketball, baseball, and golf fan. He had a generous heart and had donated his hair to Locks of Love. Jeremy was a likable guy who could bring a smile to anyone he met and engaged in conversation.
Jeremy is survived by his parents Bill (Conni) Bigler, Judy (Steve) Arn, girlfriend Tracy Owen, brothers Travis Bigler and Cody Arn, sisters Kim Bigler and Audra (Eric) Harmon, grandmothers Frieda Bufton and Donna Johnson, uncles Chuck (Lessia) Bigler and Rodney (Theresa) Bufton, aunts Nancy (Russell) Becker and Esther Milks, and nephews Christian Bigler and Evan Harmon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard and Charlotte Bigler, grandfather Rollin Bufton, uncle William Bufton, and brother Trevor Moen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 Twelfth Ave., New Glarus, WI with the Rev. Gene Talley officiating with burial in the Swiss Church Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Ave., New Glarus, WI.
Jeremy leaves behind an empty hole and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. With all our love mom and dad.
