Janet A. LeGros, age 81, was called to rejoin her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her husband in heaven on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on April 28, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to her parents Harvey and Hazel (Burns) Daniel. Janet graduated from Milwaukee Pius High School in 1953 and then went on to attend Mount Mary College. On October 20, 1956 she was united in marriage to Richard LeGros in Milwaukee. Janet was a mom and homemaker for many years, and after retiring to Crystal River, FL she worked as a substitute teacher. Janet was a dedicated and faithful Christian and demonstrated her faith as a prayer warrior.

Janet is survived by her children Michelle (Mark) Nader, Daniel (Julie) LeGros, Craig (Carrie) LeGros, Paul LeGros, and Charles (Kelly) LeGros, grandchildren Kathryn (Jeff) Piquette, Leigh Anne (Samuel) Pennington, Jamie LeGros, Janna LeGros, Calvin (Christina) LeGros, Corey LeGros, Daniel LeGros, and Erin LeGros, great-grandchildren Angeletta, Kaiya, Aurora, and David LeGros and Riley Piquette. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Marilyn Daniel and brothers-in-law Roger LeGros and Fred Wiegand.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Hazel, husband Richard, brother Charles Daniel, sisters-in-law Audrey Wyman, Lois Wiegand, Nancy and Rita LeGros, and brothers-in-law Kenneth LeGros and Jim Wyman.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the New Glarus Bible Church, 207 Sixth St., New Glarus, WI with Pastor Tom Schubring officiating, a visitation will precede the celebration of life from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
