Jane Louise Ziegler, 65 of Belleville, WI died on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born in Tomah, WI the daughter of John & Ann (Mitzy) Zastoupil. She worked for the State of Wisconsin for over 30 years. Jane married Jerry Ziegler on November 30, 1963 at Waunakee, WI. She was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly Saint Mary of Lourdes), where she was the choir director at Saint Mary of Lourdes for many years. Jane loved to sing, she sang with the Madison Diocesan Choir, traveling with the group to Ireland and many other places in Wisconsin, and also sang with the Belleville Senior Citizens Choir. Jane and Jerry took many trips together, especially to visit Alana Phelps at Barefoot Bay, Florida. She loved to play cards regularly with her friends at Bleoni's restaurant, as well as attending daily mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish and then adjourning for morning coffee at Borland's for many years. Jane is survived by her husband, two sons Gary of Belleville and Jim (Cindy) of Lakeland, CO, grandson Nicholas, a sister Virginia Vachon of Racine, and family friends: Arlene Stadelman, Dick (Linda) Miller, Dr. William (Janet) Wolberg, and Todd, Debbie, Derek, and Sydni Bahr. She was preceded in death by her father John, mother Ann, sister Bernadine Zastoupil-Gleason, brothers-in-law Wilfred Vachon and Richard Gleason, aunts, uncles, father-in-law Walter Ziegler, step-father-in-law Gar Schmid, and mother-in-law Fern Ziegler-Schmid. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4th, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Belleville, WI with the Rev. Michael Moon and Rev. Kenneth Klink officiating with burial in the St. James Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville. A memorial fund has been established.
