IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James M.
Babler
July 30, 1951 – October 12, 2024
James M. Babler, age 73, of Belleville died, Saturday, October 12, 2024 unexpectedly at his home. He was born on July 30, 1951 to Ken "Smokey" and Janet (Buss) Babler. Jim met the love of his life Ruth Lamberty and they were married on April 16, 1977. Two children were born from their union, and they provided Jim with great pride. Jim loved his family very much, but his heart was also in trucking. He was very happy telling people about the forty plus years working at Lycon, Inc. and more recently his time working for the Bruce Company.
Jim is survived by his wife Ruth, son Chris (Marsha), and granddaughter Payton, whom he adored. Jim was always so happy when she would stop by. He is further survived by his siblings Sue (Ron) Yaun, Bill (Susan) Babler, Cindy (Mike) Barker, Tim Babler, Brad (Cyndi) Babler, Jody (Steve) McClain, brother-in-law John (Marcia Hur) Lamberty, plus several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim also had many coffee and beer drinking buddies that he enjoyed talking with and sharing his opinions on many subjects whether they wanted them or not.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael, parents Ken and Janet, mother-in-law & father-in-law LaVerne & Margaret Lamberty, and many other relatives and friends.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
We will always love you and carry your memory in our hearts.
