Helen Christen of Belleville passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Her parents were John and Helen (Sulland) Bollig. Helen graduated from Belleville High School and Green County Normal. On January 5, 1957 she was united in marriage to Calvin Christen. She was a school teacher, homemaker, and mother. Helen was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville. Helen is survived by her husband Calvin, children Lucy (Michael) Nicolai of Menomonie, WI, Trudy Lorandos of Verona, WI, Jay (Candee) Christen of Belleville, WI, and Amy (Stuart) Forsyth of Madison, WI. She is further survived by seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Duane and Darrell Bollig. Private family services were held.
