Glennys E. Jelle, age 94 passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg, WI.  He was born at home in the Town of Primrose on November 16, 1927 the son of Martin and Laura (Tollefson) Jelle.  Glennys attended the Primrose Center School.  On December 12, 1948 he was united in marriage to Patricia Disch at the Primrose Lutheran Church.  In addition to farming Glennys had worked for Lutz Surge in Black Earth and Economy Cement in Madison.  Glennys and Pat became snowbirds in their later years wintering in Florida.  He was a life-long member of the Primrose Lutheran Church and avid Packer fan.

Glennys is survived by his sons Keith (Chris), Allen, Ralph (Susan) , and Tom (Jane), grandchildren Denise (Dan) Durst, Brenda (Pam) Jelle, Michael (Katie) Jelle, Michelle Dewing, Scott Jelle, Samantha Jelle, Ryan (Lindsey) Jelle, Robia (Kyle) Jelle, Raylynn (Timothy) Gerber, Alyssa Jelle, and Krista Jelle.  He is further survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, another great-grandson on the way, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Art Legler, and brothers and sisters-in-law Donald and Dorothy Jelle and Merlin and Doris Jelle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Primrose Lutheran Church, 8770 Ridge Dr., Belleville, WI with Rev. John Twiton officiating.  Burial will be in the Primrose East Cemetery.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Primrose Lutheran Church.
