Georgene C. Brown, age 85, passed away at the New Glarus Home on Friday, November 19, 2021.  She was born May 14, 1936 in Madison, WI the daughter of Clinton Garvey and Bernadine Drives-Brigham.  Georgene graduated from Madison West High School in 1954 and went on to work as a financial planner.

Georgene is survived by a daughter Susan Riley of Belleville, grandchildren Philipp Norsetter, Chelsea Uebersetzig, and Dylan Riley, great-grandchildren Ollie, Fern, Wilder, Josh, and James.   She is further survived by her sisters Dorothy Faust, Penny Larson, Beverly Schaefer, and Pamela Garvey.

She was preceded in death by a sister Jeanie Olson.

Inurnment of Georgene's cremains will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, WI at a later date.

The Becker-Beal Funeral Home of Belleville is assisting the family.
