Genevieve Wild, age 89, of Belleville passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Girlies Manor in Mt. Horeb with family at her side. She was born on November 22, 1928 in Waunakee to her parents John and Anna (Haeusler) Miller as one of nine children. On June 5, 1948 she was united in marriage to William Wild. The couple lived in Belleville for many years, and Gen worked at Lehnherr's store and later the Belleville State Bank from where she retired. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Gen was known for her baking, positive attitude, and infectious smile. She loved and cherished her family and will be greatly missed.

Genevieve is survived by her children William (Linda) Wild and Kathy (Dan) Bowlby, grandchildren Troy (Tena) Wild and Evie Grgurich, great-grandchildren MacKenzie, Haley, and Braxton Wild, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie in 2014, and siblings Florence, Martin, Caroline, Robert, Pauline, John, Jerry, and Herbert.

A memorial service to celebrate Gen's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison St., Bellevile, WI with the Rev. Michael Moon officiating.

A gathering will precede the memorial service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville.

The family would like to thank Dr. Melissa Stiles, Dr. Jensena Carlson, Carey Belvins, and the staffs of UW-Health Belleville Family Medicine, AgraceHospiceCare, Inc., and Girlie's Manor for the kind and compassionate care given to mom.
