Gail Ann Grimm, age 73 passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at her home in Monroe.  She was born on July 14, 1950 a daughter of Melvin and Vera (Forderbrueck) Grimm.  Gail grew up in the Brooklyn area and then as a teenager her family moved to New Glarus where she graduated from New Glarus High School in 1968.  Gail first worked at the Monroe Cheese Corp. and she later did in home daycare and then worked at Kmart and the Monroe hospital.  Gail enjoyed her friends and the conversations they had at Churchill Woods Apartments.

Gail is survived by her daughter Julie (Jason) Rupnow, grandchildren Emily and Garrett, sister Jackie Elmer, brother Ron Grimm, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dennis Holcomb on March 21, 2023, and sister LaVonne "Boots" Freidig.

A celebration of Gail's life will be held at a later date.
