Fredrick Allen Nicholas (Nick) George was born to William and Pauline George in Moline, Il.  He graduated from Moline High School.  His mom and dad divorce later.  Nick and his mom moved to Galesburg Ill.  Nick was very active into the Assembly Of God Church where he was the Leader of the Royal Rangers Christian Boy Scout Troop

Nick was very proud to have served in the Navy.  He enlisted January 25, 1978 and was honorably discharged July 19, 1982.  During that time he served on the USS Sierra stationed out of New Orleans.

He was an assistant manager of the Hungry Hobo for many years.  He married Joyce Moore on January 9th 1986 and they later divorced.

Nick moved to Madison, WI where he eventually met and married Steven Schwersinske on June 5, 2016.  Steven passed away on March 2, 2017.  Nick later met and became partners in life with Anthoney Allison.

Nick worked at Metro Market in Madison in the meat department.  Nick Joined the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in 2017.

Nick is survived by Anthoney Allison.  His half-brother Daniel & Allana George, niece Tracy (George) Duffing, and nephew Paul George.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 Twelfth Ave., New Glarus, WI with Pastor Erich Hartenberger officiating.

A gathering of relatives and friends will precede the memorial service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, New Glarus, WI.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
