Forrest H. "Timber" Ott, age 86, of New Glarus passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his home where he was born and raised. Timber was born on January 7, 1929 to his parents Henry and Clara (Becker) Ott. He graduated from New Glarus High School and farmed. Timber enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his children Carmen Ott, John Elsner, Dawn Banovez, Angela Donovan, Paul Elsner, and David Ott, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Doris, and two grandchildren Destiny Wirth and John "J.T." Elsner. A gathering to celebrate Timber's life will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Avenue, New Glarus, WI. A private family graveside burial service will follow in the Swiss Church Cemetery.
